·         Mostly, I paint in naive style.

·         My ambition is to make people happy when they see my art.

I discovered my skills as an art when I decorated Ceramic at the ”Paradise Pottery” on Öland in Sweden. It is a famous pottery owned by Eva and Olof Paradis.

For some years I decorated glass at Åfors glassworks in Småland. The glass was created by the famous glass artists Bertil Vallien and Ulrika Hydman Vallien. At the glasswork I developed my ability to create my own design on glass dishes, bowls and vases. Another exciting technique I have learnt is to engrave décor on glass. It adds something extra to the glass.

As time went by I started painting in naive style. My passion for bright colours intensifies the motives and gives them a higher penetration power. Because I love and admire tigers I have often used them in different compositions and I find them mysterious and wild. They express freedom. 

My ambition is to paint from the starting point of people’s everyday environment and life. I have created my very own style with the combination of the naive style and the bright colours and it is highly connected to my own identity as you will discover if we come to meet.

In 2009 I came in contact with the artist Bengt Saltö and he has been my mentor ever since. This mentorship has highly contributed to my development as an artist. This has brought a lot to me, emotional as well as practical. I have come to trust my intuition and I feel prepared for greater challenges as an artist.
