The violence in painting is what appeals to me and the beauty that remains like a small resistance. Something shines out, but only after it’s weathered rough weather, fallen apart, been ripped to pieces, then put itself together again.
As an artist, my work has lead me to all sorts of places. I was educated in Ireland, then got my first job as a metal sculptor in Tokyo. I travelled around America with an art company, then freelanced in New York - before following love to Copenhagen.
I’ve lived and worked in Copenhagen since 2006 and exhibit
both locally and internationally.
